People flock to Gypsy Blanchard's former home causing residents to have concerns
The bizarre story of Gypsy and Dee Dee Blanchard continues to intrigue people around the world.
Hulu recently started it's own show dramatizing the infamous Springfield murder case and it has people from around the country flocking to the house where it happened.
The attention is making some neighbors nervous.
Since the series came out people are driving through the north Springfield neighborhood to get a glimpse of the former Blanchard house.
Neighbors say they see out of state plates and other random cars passing by everyday. Some even parking out in front of the house, looking through the windows, and taking photos in the driveway.
"I think it's kind of ridiculous," Thomas Pengilly told KY3. "It's just glorifying something that doesn't need to be glorified."
People living there says it's annoying but also raises safety issues.
"I do find it frustrating that there are vehicles coming through here and they don't belong here," Pengilly explains. "There are little ones around and some of them of going fast and stuff."
Locals say they are tired of being part of the Blanchard exhibit.
