Firefighters battle large condo fire at Lake of the Ozarks

The Lake Ozark Fire Protection District is investigating a fire at a condo complex.
Firefighters responded to the fire shortly before 2 a.m. at the Southwood Shores Condominiums. Firefighters fought it defensively because of how large the fire was. They even fought it by boat. Firefighters do not know what started the fire yet.
Firefighters contained the fire to one building. The tenant inside suffered smoke inhalation.
The LOFPD was assisted by Osage Beach, Sunrise Beach, Rocky Mount, Moreau, Cole County, Jefferson City, Mid-County, and Gravois Fire Department’s. Also a Medic Unit from Miller County Ambulance assisted.
