You don't want to start a workout with cold muscles. So, on this Fit Life, KY3's Paul Adler visits with Jimmie Strong of Extreme Fitness about a good way to get ready for your workout.

Here's what Jimmie told us:

3 simple exercises you can do at home to get your heart rate up. You can do these exercises for 30-45 seconds. Do 4 sets to get your heart rate really pumping. Take about 30 secs break in-between each set. If you really want to challenge yourself, you can take about 15-20 second break. Overall: Do 4 sets at 30-45 seconds.
