The holiday gift giving season is just around the corner. KY3's Paul Adler and Pamela Hernandez with Thrive Personal Fitness are here with the 2017 Fit Gift Guide.

Here's what Pamela told us:

Fit Gift List – Local love!
I love putting together our annual Fit Gift list but this year I thought it would be fun to have some help from other members of our local fitness community. First, I asked Eric Johnson of Fleet Feet Sports what he would add to the wish list. He recommended the Lucy brand "Get Going" pant for the fit lady in your life. Available in a variety of colors, these pants have a great fit and flexibility. They are so stylish and comfortable you'll want wear them everywhere, not just the gym! Find them at Fleet Feet Sports or on the Lucy website. Expect to pay $65-$90 depending on the style. Cassie Dimmick of Achieving Your Best recommended picking something for that fitness fan on your list that they wouldn't normally buy themselves. Her suggestion is massage balls and rollers. I couldn't agree more and I have the perfect set; the Massage Track tool from Deep Recovery. The Massage Track tool comes with several massage balls, a body track and a neck track so you can hit your most tense and sore areas from almost every angle. The tool comes with access to videos that show you how to use the Massage Track for daily post workout recovery sessions. You can start with The Sport Massage Ball Set for $10. If you add all the accessories, you'll spend at least $100. Alex Maurer from Sangha Yoga Studio had a great suggestion to add to that recovery vibe. Sangha's selection of Ayurvedic massage oils are the perfect substitute for lotion when massaging sore and tired muscles. The oils are loaded with spices and herbs to help facilitate the recovery of your muscles. They are made from a sesame oil base, which is a warming oil perfect for winter. Find the oils locally at Sangha Yoga Studio. The oils are $23.95 a bottle. My own pick is something for anyone who loves music but hates being tethered to their phone to enjoy their favorite tunes. The Jaybird X3 sport wireless earbuds are all about freedom! With amazing sound and easy to use controls, you'll never get caught in the wires while lifting again. 8 hours of charge time means you can put your phone in your pocket (or leave it at home if you have an Apple Watch) on your next long run. The X3 is priced at about $100. Don't forget the stocking stuffers! Protein bars, iTunes giftcards, lip balm with sunscreen and 80% (or more) dark chocolate make great fit life editions!
