Greene County investigators identify body found north of Springfield

The Greene County Sheriff's Department identified a man's body found north of Springfield Monday.

Detectives say Thomas Ray Woods' body was found in an area of State Highway H and State Highway KK. Deputies found his body in the Little Sac River. Investigators do not know how long Woods' body had been there.

Deputies say an SUV parked off the highway had been there for about a week. Officers stickered the vehicle on Sunday.
