Homeowner beware: Did you get this notice about your mortgage?

It's a yellow postcard about your mortgage that might arrive in your mailbox.
A community in Kimberling City got the notices. Instead of pitching the cards, they emailed On Your Side reporter, Ashley Reynolds.
It reads -- in bold red -- "Important notice, time sensitive" and it's about your loan.
Vonda Howard and a few of her neighbors at Schooner Bay Landing got this postcard.
"We are mostly seniors in the area," she said.
In bold red -- it mentions Table Rock Community Bank. Which happens to be right across the street from this community. Bank workers tell On Your Side this is not their postcard.
"In the very bottom right hand corner, there's fine print that you can hardly read it says all information provided by Mortgage Protection Services," said Howard.
Mortgage Protection Services is the company behind these postcards.
The company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.
On Your Side called the number on the postcard, but couldn't talk to a real person. It's an automated system.
"I believe if I had a problem with my loan, my mortgage company would have called me," said Howard.
This postcard is about mortgage protection insurance. It's a real option.
It pays the mortgage if there's a death. Most home insurance or life insurance policies will cover that.
But, if it's something you're interested in, before you sign the dotted line, check with the Missouri Department of Insurance. You need to make sure the company is licensed to do business, especially if you're dealing with an out of state offer.
