Leigh's Lost and Found: featuring a lost Lab mix puppy

In our Leigh's Lost and Found today our featured dog is a young pup with a ton of energy.

Animal control thinks the pup is only about four months old and they definitely believe he has an owner somewhere missing him.

"He was found in the 1900 block of north Yates kind of running loose. Some people found him and brought him in for the night and then called us out the next morning. He did have a blue collar with white bones on it and he also had a matching blue harness, it was a little torn up and a little too small for him. "

Shelter coordinator Josh Doss believes the male puppy is a Black Lab possibly mixed with a Collie since has a somewhat shaggy coat that will likely get longer as he gets older.

He also has distinctive white freckles on his feet and the tip of his tail. Like most puppies, he's super playful and friendly and appears to be well taken care of.
