Leigh's Lost and Found: featuring two lost Lab puppies

In today's Leigh's Lost and Found report, we have double the fun, but double the need to get these two found puppies back where they belong.

"It's two little girls, little Lab mixes. They look very much alike from one another."

This cute, female duo showed up loose at the John B. Hughes apartment complex in the 2100 block of north Clifton on December 20th.

No one living there recognized them and the apartment manager didn't know of any residents who had two puppies.

They look almost exactly alike and appear to be siblings. One is slightly taller and the other weighs slightly more, but they're both pretty thin and could add some extra pounds.

"They're a little on the skinny side. It might be they've been running for awhile. They're pretty young, we're guessing about six months old, so they've been cared for, for awhile."

If you recognize these puppies and know where they belong, or if you've lost a pet, call animal control at 417-833-3592. You can also visit their website to see pictures of all the animals currently there and to fill out an online lost pet form.

Another great resource is the Leigh's Lost and Found facebook page. Anyone can post a lost or found animal on there so be sure to like the page and share it with your friends.
