Lincoln Hough formally resigns from Greene County Commission

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Greene County Commissioner Lincoln Hough submitted his resignation Monday as he soon will head to Jefferson City.

Voters elected the ex-state legislator Hough to the Missouri State Senate in November. He will represent District 30, which covers the city of Springfield. The legislature opens Wednesday in Jefferson City for the 2019 session.

Hough served on the Greene County Commission for two years. Governor Mike Parson will appoint a successor.
