Thieves are still on the run after burglarizing a local store on the north side of Springfield.

"It makes me feel violated and disappointed," said Richard Maggard.

Richard Maggard is the owner of RC Flea Market on Kearney Street. He sells all types of things from antique dolls, to running shoes, to food. But this past Saturday, a man and woman, right before closing time, stole an employee's keys right off the counter.

"She's panicking, it's the keys to everything, the front door, the safe, her car," said Maggard.

Richard says all the locks have been changed, but he was able to catch the thieves in action on one of his more than 30 in-store security cameras.

Maggard says he isn't sure why someone would steal keys, but he says going forward he will increase in-store security even more.

"Eventually we will get another 32 cameras," said Maggard.

If you recognize these individuals or know any information, you are asked to contact the Springfield Police Department.
