Authorities say a man has drowned after falling out of a fishing boat in the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 78-year-old Ronald Miller, of Fenton. The patrol says he was in the boat with another 78-year-old man when he fell out Wednesday afternoon at the 30.8 mile marker in the main channel near Osage Beach.

The patrol says the boat wasn't moving at the time.
