Missouri Highway Patrol arrests Branson, Mo. man on child pornography charges

BRANSON, Mo. -- The Missouri Highway Patrol arrested a Branson man for promoting ad possessing child pornography.

Dru Bogardus, 32, is in the Taney County Jail.

On March 14, investigators executed a search warrant at Bogardus’ home located on Holts Lake Drive in the Branson area. As a result of their search, investigators say they seized child pornography and computer equipment.

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit. The Patrol was assisted by the Taney County Sheriff’s Office and the Branson Police Department.
