Monett High School student faces charge in school threat investigation

MONETT, Mo. -- Monett, Mo. Police arrested a student for a threat that led to a lockdown Monday.

Police say the high school student brought to class a weapon (knuckles) and spent ammunition. The investigation into the threat lasted about an hour. Police searched the high school to assure no danger was present. They then lifted the lockdown.

Police arrested Alejandro Gonzalez, 17, without incident. Investigators say he cooperated with them. He faces a terrorist threat charge. A judge set bond at $10,000.
