NIXA, Mo. -- More than 5,000 packed Nixa High School Saturday, celebrating everything business and community at the 24th annual NIXPO.
The massive expo put on by Nixa's Chamber of Commerce housed 130 booths that set-up shop both inside and outside, with everything from food vendors to roofing to community organizations.
Nixa's first responders were there too, presenting community workshops.
Organizers say the event has grown into one of the top expos in the region, and, even attracts people from out of state. They say it's the city's chance to come together and show-off *what they have to offer.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chris Russell says by having one central spot where people can come take a look at everything that's going on in the city of Nixa. They're able to promote even more economic development in the region.
