National Weather Service confirms small tornado early Saturday in Monett, Mo.

MONETT, Mo. -- The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado hit the community of Monett, Mo. Saturday morning.

The EF-0 tornado rolled through around 12:15 a.m. west of Highway 37. It stayed on the ground for just a tenth of a mile. It stretched more more than 50 yards.

The storm damaged several roofs before it lifted. There are no reports of any injuries in this area.
