SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the northern half of the Oazarks.
The watch lasts through 10 p.m. Monday. It includes Barton, Camden, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Henry, Hickory, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Morgan, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, St. Clair, and Vernon Counties.
Thin high clouds should mean little to hamper a warm-up, but we’ll see the potential for a few storms. The key will be watching a remnant weak circulation coming out of Oklahoma by mid to late afternoon. That may be just enough to kick up storms.
Stay ahead of the weather while on-the-go with the KY3 Storm Team app.
