Just when they thought they had seen it all, two officers with the Ozark Police Dept. responded to a call that they won't soon forget.
In a Facebook post, the Ozark Police Dept. shared pictures of Officers Schwartz and Cabrales picking up a young deer that was attempting to enter the Casey's General Store at 1950 W. Jackson St. on Wednesday afternoon.
The officers were able to successfully capture the deer to prevent it from entering the store and potentially running into an unsuspecting motorist on Hwy. 14. With the assistance of a concerned citizen, the deer was relocated to a nearby forested area to ensure the safety of the animal and motorists.
