FOIL, Mo. -- According to the Ozark County Sheriff's Department, 73-year-old Lawrence Clinton Brostedt, of Foil, was found dead at his residence Saturday afternoon.
Ozark County conducted a well being check on Brostedt and found his home to be burglarized. Upon arrival, officers found a large tarp laying on the garage floor with Brostedt's body under the tarp, wrapped tight.
According to the press release, it appears that Brostedt was ambushed from behind and shot in the back of the head.
Mountain Grove Police Department contacted Ozark County after they arrested a male subject on a Wright County warrant. The suspect had three personal checks belonging to Brostedt.
Three Mansfield suspects are in custody and one fled the state. It is believed that there is a total of five people to be charged in association to the homicide.
According to Sheriff Reed, Holly Lucas, 42, of Mansfield, has been arrested and is being held without bond in the Ozark County Jail. Lucas is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, burglary and two counts of robbery.
Tyler Teynard, 32, of Squires, has fled Missouri and is possibly heading to Orlando, Florida. Teynard has been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, burglary and two counts of robbery.
Michael Smith, 23, of Mansfield, is being held in the Ozark County Jail on a $250,000 cash-only bond. Smith has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
More charges are expected this coming week on two other suspects in connection with this crime.
