Decades ago, a man became determined to drive an old steam engine on what was once the first railroad into northern Arkansas from Missouri. Reatt Younger spent years restoring the tracks and cars and engine. He finally got to the point he could chug a couple of miles next to and across the western most part of Table Rock Lake just downstream from Beaver Dam. This railroad is no longer in operation at the little town of Beaver, but another old time passenger train with dining cars does continue to operate from the depot in northern Eureka Springs. KY3's Ed Fillmer kept up with the steam engineer over the years in the 1980's.
