SPRINGFIELD, Mo. The Route 66 Tandem Cyclists is a group of bike riders who want to help those who are either blind or have other disabilities, experience what it feels like to ride a bicycle. The group organizes weekly bike rides in locations around the Ozarks. Each blind person will ride with a cyclist for a 10-mile bike ride.

Today's group met at the Battlefield Plaza located at Battlefield and Jefferson. From there they rode to the South Creek Greenway Trail and made their way towards Nathanael-Greene Park.
