Republic School Leaders say they will have a 'heightened sense of awareness' after police arrested a middle school student for terroristic threat on Sunday.

Police arrested a boy, 13, early Sunday morning for making a terrorist threat after an overnight investigation. The boy sent a threatening video via social media, claiming he would shoot up a school with an AK47.

Officers confiscated guns and other evidence from the juvenile's residence and the investigation is on going.

The boy is now in juvenile custody.
