Spring cleaning takes place in the city of Ozark, Mo.

OZARK, Mo. -- Spring fever is in the air and so is Spring cleaning! The city of Ozark had their city wide clean-up.

For more than 15 years now, public works for the city of Ozark and Republic Services have worked together to beautify the community. Republic Services says they have had more than 15 trucks out and about picking up old furniture, boxes, tv's and so on.

Public Works Director Jeremy Parsons for the city of Ozark says the clean up is not only to make the community look better, but its helpful as we go into storm season.

"If things aren't anchored down properly, they can become flying debris in situations like that", says Parsons.
