The Storm Prediction Center issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for several counties in the Ozarks Sunday night.

The watch lasts until midnight. It includes Barry, Barton, Bates, Cedar, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Henry, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton (Mo.), Ozark, Polk, St. Clair, Stone (Mo.), Taney, Vernon, Webster and Wright Counties.

The KY3 Storm Team predicts the risks from these storms will include damaging winds with a lesser threat of damaging hail. At this time it looks like any tornado threat is extremely low.
