NIXA, Mo. -- This week's very strong wind caused not only outages, but kept roofers busy fixing problems.
When gusts reached more than 60 miles-an-hour on Saturday, March 9, workers at Dale's Roofing say they received more than 250 calls in just one night. This week, they received close to 1,200 calls. They say its been hard to keep up.
Roofers say even if shingles are not coming off your roof, it's best to get your roof checked now before the rainy season sets in. They also doesn't recommend people checking their roof themselves.
