SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield school leaders say they are questioning a student after the discovery of an unloaded gun at Kickapoo High School.

A tip led administrators to the student Tuesday. The gun happened to be in a backpack. However, the district stressed the student did not have any ammunition.
