Tickets on sale Friday for Birthplace of Route 66 Festival concerts

The Gillioz Theatre announces an expanded role in the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival, including naming the headlining national entertainment for the Festival’s Signature Series Concerts.
Partnering with Aaron Sachs & Associates, along with Dwight Glenn Productions, the festival will host a Friday night, August 11 concert outside on the Aaron Sachs stage featuring country superstars Big & Rich. The country duo have had success both together and as solo artists, and have a new project releasing this summer.
Saturday, August 12 the Gillioz will host the music inside the historic venue with Three Dog Night headlining. Three Dog Night boasts 21 Top 40 hits and over 7 million singles sold, making them an enduring piece of rock history. T
he festival actually begins in the Gillioz on Thursday, August 10 with a screening of the film “Show Me 66: Main Street Through Missouri”. Produced by the Missouri History Museum This film, equal parts travelogue and historical narrative explores the sights and landscapes found along Route 66 in Missouri, as well as bigger stories across the decades. The show is a must-see for anyone interested in Missouri history, American car culture, historic preservation, or the Main Street of America.
