The storm system impacting the state has closed or restricted access to more than 150 roads statewide.

U.S. 60 is a major corridor for east-west traffic. Due to water encroaching the roadway, MoDOT restricted the lanes between Farm Road 219 and Farm Road 213 on Saturday night.

With the continued rain, traffic likely will move head-to-head in the EB lanes only (with one lane of travel in each direction) overnight between Greene County Farm Road 219 and Harmony Road.

MoDOT urges drivers to find alternative routes, if possible.

Around midnight Saturday, viewers sent word that Missouri 99 is closed in Shannon County because a bridge was collapsing between Birch Tree and Thomasville.
