VIDEO: Kickapoo High School students participate in walkout Friday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Kickapoo High School students walked out of class Friday morning.

Students who organized the rally say the meaning was to walkout, so one day they would not have to run out of the classroom. However, other kids rallied for a pro-gun stance. The school district let the kids walkout without punishment.

A march is also scheduled to take place tomorrow in downtown Springfield and in Washington D.C. March For Our Lives is expecting more than 2,400 people to rally against gun violence starting at 11 on Park Central Square, in downtown Springfield.
