Vandal throws paint on Confederate statue in Springfield

A confederate statue at the Springfield National Cemetery at Glenstone and Seminole in Springfield has been vandalized.

You can see a crew in the picture working to clean it up. The Department of Veteran affairs confirms to KY3 that someone threw paint onto the statue. The Greene County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
