WATCH: SATO 48 Showcase Special

KY3, the Ozarks CW, and SATO48 teamed up to bring you the best 2019 sci-fi short films produced by local filmmakers for SATO48!

If you’re unfamiliar with SATO48, it stands for “Springfield and the Ozarks 48 Hour Film Challenge,” where filmmaker teams have 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, produce, and turn in a 5-minute or less film.

This year, international judges picked the Top 10 sci-fi films to come out of SATO48, then you voted for the best of the best! The SATO48 Showcase Special features the top candidates that received the most votes by the community.

Join hosts Spencer Ernst and Daniel Posey as they teleport you to a one-hour special that showcases 7 sci-fi short films, includes a behind-the-scenes segment that shows what it takes to produce a short film in 48 hours, and they also reveal which team received the most votes and won The Ozarks CW Saucer Prize for best sci-fi film.
