Woman shot by officers in Aurora, Mo. dies
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a woman shot by police in Aurora Saturday has died.
Investigators identified her as Savannah Hill, 21.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. in Aurora on Saturday, May 5. Officers stopped the driver of a car, who police say was Hill. Police say they stopped the car to arrest a passenger. As officers approached the car, they say the driver put the car in reverse hitting one officer. The other officer then fired shot into the vehicle.
Hill later died at a Springfield hospital. The officer suffered moderate injuries.
