Young boy hit by car in Salem, Mo.

A young child was hit by a car in Salem, Mo., as the 4-year-old boy was walking his dog in the middle of the road.

It happened around 6:30 Saturday night along Highway 32, in Dent County.

The boy is hospitalized with only minor injuries.

No word yet on any possible trouble for the driver.
