A truck hit an Amish buggy about a mile north of Diggins about 4:40 p.m., ejecting but not injuring the driver.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash was at the top of a hill on Highway A at Chestnut Road. The truck hit the back of the buggy. A trooper says the driver swerved but still clipped the buggy, which is totaled.

The trooper didn't say whether the horse was injured.

Diggins is in southern Webster County along U.S. 60 between Fordland and Seymour.
