The 5-year-old victim was transported by their parents to the hospital. The parents told OPD the child obtained a firearm and shot themselves on accident.
According to an update, the crash involved a 2008 Honda GL1800 motorcycle and a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup.
Additional unexpected costs have been added to the project due to requirements from Brunswick County.
