SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Domestic Violence Awareness Month occurs every October. Harmony House, a domestic violence shelter in Springfield, MO, hosts iCare to raise awareness about the problem within the Ozarks.
Director of Development for Harmony House, Jared Alexander, talked to Daniel Posey about the event and how the nonprofit uses a sticker you place under your eye to show support for domestic violence survivors. Alexander said more than 350 local businesses participated in iCare last year.
