Oh deer! A wandering doe walks into a YMCA in downtown Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE/Gray News)- A YMCA location in Louisville, Kentucky got a surprise visitor when a deer walked through its doors.

Body camera footage shows how police were able to get the deer out of the Chestnut Street YMCA.

The video shows the deer standing in the YMCA lobby in downtown Louisville. The deer doesn’t even appear to be startled by the people there. It only took a couple of nudges and convincing to walk her out of the building.

Once she was out, she looked around, a bit unaware of her surroundings. The officer grabbed a picture with the deer, who likely wandered inside after being displaced due to flooding.
