Limited-Time Mulch Deal: Buy one, get two free at the Springfield Yardwaste Recycling Center

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Springfield’s Yardwaste Recycling Center is offering a buy-one-get-two-free promotion on bulk unscreened mulch Oct. 6 through Nov. 28, while supplies last.

Customers who buy 1 cubic yard of MoMulch, Environmental Services’ local mulch product, will get 2 additional yards free. A minimum purchase of 1 yard is required. All products must be removed at the time of purchase. Delivery is not available. Payment options include card, cash and check.

Mulch made from local yard waste

MoMulch is made from chipped and ground wood waste, including limbs and brush, collected at the City of Springfield’s Yardwaste Recycling Center. The mulch is processed using specialized equipment to ensure a uniform texture and size.

“MoMulch is created with yard waste collected from our community,” said Dan Jessen, Environmental Services superintendent of solid waste. “It’s processed into high-quality mulch that helps maintain healthy soil while giving organic waste a second life.”
