Skateboarder hospitalized after being hit by car in Springfield, Mo.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A skateboarder is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just before 6:00 at the intersection of Division Street and Robberson Avenue.

Police say the man was crossing Robberson Avenue when he was hit.

The driver of the car is cooperating with police.

Police found the driver of another car who drove through a police barricade during the investigation and then left.
