Jury convicts woman for death of Springfield man in 2014

A Greene County jury has convicted a Springfield woman guilty of second degree murder in the shooting death of a man four years ago.
It took that jury just six hours to find Kearstain Sleeth, 27, guilty.
Detectives found Curtis Payne dead inside his Dollison Avenue home in February of 2014. Investigators say Kaleb Moore, Jeremiah Devaliti, and Tyler Keithley broke into Payne's home, while Sleeth waited outside in a vehicle. Sleeth told detectives that she thought the men were going to "beat up" Payne because he had assaulted her.
Investigators say Sleeth then drove the men to Fellows Lake to get rid of guns.
Devaliti and Moore have already pleaded guilty to the crime. Keithley goes on trial later this year.
Two of those friends have pleaded guilty...the final suspect is scheduled to stand trial next month.
