Jamie Thomas, director of survivor support at the Pathways Project, said she spent 14 years being trafficked. The fundraiser helps pay for a home where women can begin again.
"There's a common misconception of why don't you just leave? Why didn't you just leave? Because it's not that simple," Thomas said.
Springfield Police cited eight minors for possession of alcohol and issued one citation for supplying alcohol to minors after a focused enforcement in the downtown area earlier this month.
