COLE CAMP, Mo. (KY3) - A 17-year-old from the Ozarks performed his way onto “The Voice.”

Cole Camp native Trevon Dawson became the last singer to make it onto a team for Season 27. He performed Bailey Zimmerman’s song “Religiously.” Trevon’s musical journey began with small performances at local farmers’ markets. He says he’s excited to learn more through his coach, Adam Levine.

“What excites me the most about working with Adam Levine is that I know that he can teach me so much about control, stage presence, and what to do before the stage to calm my nerves down and be able to put all of my emotions into the song so I can just spill it all out for the audience,” said Dawson.

Dawson has performed on stages across the Ozarks, including the Baldknobbers in Branson, the Missouri State Fair, and at various rodeos.
